Overview
Leekes is a prestigious home and garden retailer with a rich history of providing high-quality products and customer service. As a premium and valued partner of Big Eye Deers, we have worked closely with Leekes’ internal team to add value and drive progression for their online store. Our partnership focused on improving site stability, enhancing the user experience, and increasing customer retention through strategic updates to their Magento Commerce store.
The Challenge
Leekes already had an established Magento store but saw an opportunity to elevate their eCommerce experience. They sought to enhance site performance, improve user experience, and introduce new technologies that would drive engagement and customer loyalty. Their goal was to build on the existing foundation by refining the customer journey, streamlining the checkout process, and ensuring seamless integration with their internal systems. To support these ambitions, Leekes required advanced search functionality and a more efficient payment solution, both of which would contribute to an overall smoother and more enjoyable shopping experience.

Our Approach

- Stability Improvements: We focused on resolving longstanding bugs and fixing UI issues that were disrupting the user journey, ensuring a smoother and more reliable shopping experience for Leekes’ customers.
- Enhanced User Experience: Improvements to the website’s design and functionality were made to better align with customer expectations, increasing engagement and satisfaction across various touchpoints of the site.
- Klevu Search Implementation: We integrated Klevu’s advanced search functionality, allowing users to find products more easily and enhancing overall site usability.
- Payment Migration: Migrated Leekes from their existing payment provider to Magento Payment Services, streamlining the checkout process and improving overall payment reliability.
- ERP Customisation: We are continuing to work on improving the checkout process and integrating Leekes’ Magento store with their internal ERP system to ensure seamless operational efficiency.
Results
Our ongoing work with Leekes has delivered a more stable and user-friendly platform, leading to improved customer retention and a smoother online shopping experience. The addition of Klevu Search has significantly enhanced the site’s search functionality, helping customers find products faster, while the payment migration has created a more efficient and reliable checkout process.
