The Approach
Creation of new logo, branding and brand guidelines for use throughout the business. This then informed the design of the website which was built on WordPress.

Build
The website was built on Wordpress which gave us a powerful CMS out of the box. It’s also easily extendible which allowed us to create custom post types to hold and organise ICoNiChem’s specialised product data. We installed Ninja Forms to provide a robust platform for adding forms to the website. Forms were added to allow users to submit general enquiries as well as request quotes and samples on specific products.
Branding and Design
The branding choices made for IConiChem were crucial in communicating their brand message. Periodic table typography was used alongside a colour palette of both Cobalt and Nickel, based on compound colours. The ident used, symbolises unity and strength of IConiChem’s combined services.
The website was designed to reflect ICoNiChem’s niche market. The style and feel of the site focused on simplicity, utilising the brand colours of blue and green, alongside clean fonts to bring a systematic impression to the site. The site layout is based on a square format to again touch upon the style of a periodic table.
The iconography of the site was to be flat and simple in style, to work institute with the clean format of the website. A molecule icon was introduced into particular elements and images, creating an accent to draw the user in.
